Good morning,

We've rounded the corner and are in the final stretch of our website redesign. NIC USA flips the switch on Tuesday night. To help our customers through the change, it's a good idea to send a heads up message today or tomorrow. If you have a customer email list for your program, I encourage you to send the following message. Also, feel free to add anything else that may be specific to your program or your customers' needs.

The Department of Administrative Services is rolling out a new public website March 16. More than a design update, the new site is organized by the tasks visitors can accomplish, as opposed to the DAS organizational chart. Accessibility and mobile device connectivity are also improved. Think of the new site as more, dynamic service hub and less, ever-growing file cabinet.

The new site is the result of nearly a year of work by staff from every DAS division. A cross-functional team met to gather and analyze web traffic on current pages, determine what information to keep and what to archive, write fresh content in plain language and organize it by task function. The end result, fewer pages to sift through and better access to the pages with the heaviest traffic.

Having trouble finding a program? Just type it into the search bar in the upper right corner of any DAS webpage. The search feature in the new website is quite robust. Still want to find a page using the org. chart as your guide? Simply click the "Agency info" link on top of the homepage to find direct links to all DAS programs and services.
