ORBITS update:

SABRS have taken ORBITS offline to correct some data issues. As you have probably read in the papers the State Data Center had a catastrophic system crash of the Hitachi SAN which host the ORBITS Database as well as many other statewide databases on Monday night. SABRS is still assessing the impact to ORBITS databases, we know Production is running but the database is in a degraded states so we are running some cleanup process and will have ORBITS online as soon as possible. If you have ran any ORBITS reports since Monday please discard them. Any question please feel free to email me.

Orbits Users,

The system is back online but will not be available until tomorrow. Currently ETS has restored access to the ORBITS database and, we are in the preliminary process of data validation. Although you can now login to the Orbits system I would recommend waiting until we give the all clear that the data center does not need to do anything else and SABR has validated the data.

Thanks and sorry again for the interruption
