The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA)  has a vacancy for the position of Trust Accountant. This position is full-time and is located in the OYA Central Office, Business Services Division. If hired, you will become part of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) collective bargaining unit.

 

The primary purpose of this position is to work with technical and professional staff to carry out the accounting and special purpose financial reporting functions for the agency.  This position is lead on agency-wide reconciliation functions and preparing federal financial reports.  It assists with preparing annual financial statements and developing accounting policies, procedures, and operating manuals.  It advises on, or participates in, the design and execution of evolving accounting systems and controls.  It maintains client trust accounts and assists with cost allocation, billing, receipting, and payable functions.  It performs complex accounting analysis as needed.

 

You must be a current State of Oregon employee to be eligible for this position. This includes ONLY permanent full-time, permanent part-time and limited duration State employees. It is not available for OYA temporary employees but we thank you for your interest.
