PRSA Lunch and Tour of the Hallie Ford Museum of Art

Join Director John Olbrantz for an introduction to Oregon's third largest art museum and explore the major exhibition, "Breath of Heaven, Breath of Earth: Ancient Near Eastern Art from American Collections." This exhibition represents a rare opportunity to view 64 ancient artworks from the area known as the Fertile Crescent. The objects date from approximately 6000 BCE to 500 BCE and draw from the geographic regions of Mesopotamia, Syria and the Levant, Anatolia and Iran. Together, they reveal a wealth of information about the people and cultures that produced them. The exhibition explores several broad themes found in the art of the ancient Near East: gods and goddesses, men and women, and animals both real and supernatural.

Parking
Please send an email to ORCapitalPRSA at gmail.com to reserve one of the 20 parking spots in the guest parking lot. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis but must be reserved by emailing the chapter email address by Oct. 31. There is a check-in booth for those with reservations. The Guest Parking lot is located on the corner of Winter and Bellevue Street. Metered parking is also available on State Street but it can be hard to find a spot.

Bike parking is also available outside of Goudy Commons and by the University Center.
 
Cost 
Program and lunch $15 for PRSA members, $20 for non-members. Program only price is not available for this event. Register by Oct. 31. Please follow the  easy registration process. If you need parking, please follow the parking instructions.
