The application receipt date is February 10, 2016. Two RFAs: * R03 Small Grant RFA: http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-ES-15-015.html The combined budget for the 2-year R03 projects may not exceed $100,000 (no more than $50,000 in direct costs may be requested in any single year) * R21 Exploratory/Developmental Grant RFA: http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-ES-15-017.html The combined budget for the 2-year R21 projects may not exceed $275,000 (no more than $200,000 in direct cost may be requested in any single year) Purpose: The purpose of these announcements is to encourage research projects focused on the process of effective communication of research findings about breast cancer and the environment. A central objective of this new initiative is to ensure that risk messaging is designed for dissemination and effectively implemented, and leads to individual behavior change or policy change. The ultimate goal is to assess the most effective approaches for the development, dissemination, and implementation of communication-based prevention efforts to reduce the risk for breast cancer from environmental factors.
