Share these links with friends, family and co-workers - encourage them to give to the Cultural Trust before midnight, December 31, 2008.
Donors must first give to any cultural nonprofit - in any amount. They can then make a matching gift to the Cultural Trust and claim a generous 100% tax credit, up to $500 for individuals, $1,000 for couples filing jointly and $2,500 for Oregon corporations.
A donation can be mailed to the Cultural Trust, 775 Summer Street NE, Salem, Oregon 97301-1280, made online via the Trust's secure website, www.culturaltrust.org, or by calling the Trust staff at (503) 986-0088.
Gifts of stock must be made by contacting Shannon Planchon, (503) 229-6062 or shannon.planchon at state.or.us
The Cultural Trust is one of the non-profits participating in Willamette Week's Give Guide, so donors may also contribute through the Give Guide, http://giveguide.oaktree.com/
Oregon's cultural tax credit is one of the nation's most innovative tools to increase philanthropy for culture now - and to build a long term endowment to preserve and protect Oregon's history and heritage, invest in the humanities and support the arts.
Get involved! Do it for Oregon! Please join me in donating today: www.culturaltrust.org.
PS: Oregon's cultural license plate is the perfect holiday gift for all ages! Available at any Oregon DMV office!
