The Oregon Arts Commission will host the third webinar in its Creative Oregon Capacity Initiative next week.  This month, we'll focus on building board fundraising capacity.   We invite staff and board members from arts organizations of all sizes to participate and join in the discussion.  This is a free training opportunity; there is no fee to participate so please share this invitation with board members and others:

TCC Group Consultant Susan Misra will lead the discussion on the board's role in the individual fundraising process. She will also facilitate interactive exercises focused on prospecting and soliciting.  Participants will have an opportunity to develop a list of individual prospects and discuss common concerns and fears around soliciting.  They will also share successful examples of identifying and asking individuals to give.
