Good afternoon,
 
I just got back for the ORMAP tech group meeting, good fun was had by
all. One thing did come to my attention and that was, not everyone has
an updated business plan, included a lot of the counties requesting
funds! This is my fault for not catching this sooner. The part that
jumps out is in section 5, "Time Line". Not everyone has completed this
to reflect your completing date. Many people show they are going to be
completed by 2012 but they have nothing past 2008 in the time line. If
you are planning to be done by fall 2012, I would assume your last
remapping request would be fall 2011. I know the future is a little
clouded right now, but I need all the information you can give me, your
best estimations may be all that you can give, and I'll take it.
 
Not only is having a current business plan a pass/fail requirement it
also helps me forecast the funds that ORMAP will need and if we will be
meeting our current goals. If we aren't going to meet the goals I need
something I can show people to make a case for change. Right now 9 of
the 17 grant do not have a current business plan time line. I'm not
going to list the counties, so PLEASE check your business plan and
update them before Friday April 3, 2009. Especially, if you want your
current grant request to be considered for funding.
