The Oregon Department of Corrections' Director's Office in Salem is seeking an employee for a Job Rotation opportunity in Internal Audits. The duration of this rotation is approximately one year. Travel to and from the work site is at the expense of the employee and is not a reimbursable expense. If applicable, a work-out-of-class differential will be paid to the successful candidate.

The goal of the recruitment is to fill the position at the Internal Auditor 3 level, however, we encourage candidates who meet the qualifications for the Internal Auditor 2 to apply. This classification will be used to under fill when the qualifications of the higher level cannot be recruited.

You must be a permanent employee (including limited duration) with a State of Oregon agency to be considered for this position. (Temporary and contract employees are excluded.)
Example of Duties

This position is responsible for conducting complex audits and evaluating management operations, fiscal and accounting functions or systems, and internal controls of the Department of Corrections and Oregon Corrections Enterprises.

Qualifications for Internal Auditor 3

Your application materials will be reviewed to verify that you:
*       are a permanent employee (including limited duration) with a State of Oregon agency; and
*       (DOC Employees only) prior, written approval from your supervisor to apply (Attach Supervisor approval e-mail to your application); AND
*       have a Bachelor's degree in a field related to business or public administration, finance, economics, accounting, or computer science; AND
*       three years of auditing experience.

A graduate-level degree in any of the fields listed above may substitute for one year of the required experience. Copies of your transcripts must be uploaded to your electronic application before submission to receive credit for your education.
Qualifications for Internal Auditor 2

Your application materials will be reviewed to verify that you:
*       are a permanent employee (including limited duration) with a State of Oregon agency; and

Designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is preferred.
