[OSFA] 2016 Conference and Award Recognition

2016 Conference
At last year's Conference, members were turned away due to limited seating.  This year we have two Conferences planned:  one on April 28th and the other on May 3rd, to assure that all of our members can attend.  The April conference is intended for Advanced Financial staff, while the May conference is an Introductory for New staff, within the past three years, to State Financial. Changes will be upcoming on the website for additional information


Award Recognition
The Oregon State Fiscal Association has an awards recognition program where we recognize two individuals for their work for the past year.

The first award is for the Promotion and Development of the Oregon State Fiscal Association (OSFA).  This award recognizes a person or persons who have given their energy and support to OSFA and who have had a positive effect on its growth and development.

The second award is for Outstanding Contribution to Oregon State Government Finance and Accounting.  This award recognizes a person or persons who have made a direct and substantial impact on finance or accounting in their agency, other agencies, or the state system as a whole.

Please be thinking of those individuals whom you work with that are worthy of being nominated and selected for these awards.

Please submit your award nomination forms to any OSFA Board of Directors member by Friday April 17, 2015.
