Marine Board Meeting Scheduled for January 27

The Marine Board will meet via teleconference on Wednesday, January 27
at 11 a.m.

The public meeting will be held at the Marine Board office in Salem,
435 Commercial St. N.E. in the main conference room.  The Marine Board
will discuss the appointment status of the State Marine Director and as
necessary, may adjourn to an Executive Session under ORS 192.660 (2)(a)
to discuss selection of an interim director.  The Marine Board will also
receive a briefing from a DAS Senior Recruitment representative.  As
necessary, the Board may review, take public comment, make edits, and
adopt the recommended hiring standards, criteria and policy directives
to be used for the selection of the next State Marine Director as
required under ORS 192.660 to consider the employment of a successor
Director.  
	
The meeting is accessible for persons with disabilities.  Persons
needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a

January 26.  Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items
may do so during the designated period at the start of the meeting.
