Marine Board Meeting on Monday in Salem

                The Oregon State Marine Board will hold a special Board meeting via teleconference on Monday, February 28 at 2 p.m. at the Marine Board office, 435 Commercial Street NE, in Salem.
The purpose of this special Board meeting is to make a technical correction regarding the action taken during the last Board meeting on February 17, where the Board approved a slow-no-wake zone within the Holgate Channel in Portland.  An incorrect administrative rule was cited and quoted in the staff report recommendation, which the Board adopted.  The Board will vote on a corrected motion to add the same operative language to the correct administrative rule, as identified in the notice of rulemaking.
The public is invited to attend this meeting to be held in the main conference room at the Salem office.  The meeting is accessible for persons with disabilities.  Persons needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability should contact June LeTarte at 503-378-2617.  Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during the designated period at the start of the meeting.
