Marine Board Meeting Held on Monday in Salem

                The Oregon State Marine Board held a special Board meeting via teleconference on Monday, February 28 at 2 p.m. at the Marine Board office, 435 Commercial Street NE, in Salem.
The purpose of this special Board meeting was to make a technical correction regarding the action taken during the last Board meeting on February 17, where the Board approved a slow-no-wake zone within the Holgate Channel in Portland.  An incorrect administrative rule was cited and quoted in the staff report recommendation during the February 17 meeting, which the Board adopted.
The Board voted on a corrected motion that added the same operative language to the correct administrative rule, as identified in the notice of rulemaking.
