Marine Board Meetings Scheduled in Eugene

            The Oregon State Marine Board will meet on October 25 and 26 at the Red Lion Hotel, 205 Coburg Rd, in Eugene.  Board members will meet October 25 for a work session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and hold a special meeting beginning at 6 p.m. to consider adoption of proposed rules for the Outfitter and Guide Program.  The Marine Board's quarterly meeting will be held October 26 beginning at 9 a.m.  Both meetings are open to the general public.
            The quarterly general meeting agenda includes:

*       Rulemaking initiation for the Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program;

*       Rulemaking adoption to consolidate current Boating Under the Influence of Intoxicant rules (BUII);

*       Consideration of a boating facility grant for the Port of Brookings;

*       Program reports from section managers within the agency.

This meeting is accessible for persons with disabilities.  Persons needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability should contact June LeTarte at 503-378-2617 by Monday, October 24.  Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during the designated period at the start of the 9 a.m. general meeting on October 26.
