Marine Board Quarterly Meeting Being Held in Roseburg

              The Oregon State Marine Board will meet for their quarterly meeting on March 19-20 in Roseburg.  On the 19th, the Board and agency staff will be touring local boating access sites from 1 pm to 5 pm.   The general Board meeting will begin on March 20 at 9 am at Windmill Inn, 1450 NW Mulholland Rd in Roseburg.
            The Marine Board Agenda includes the following topics:

*       Director's Report;

*       Consideration to adopt rulemaking on boat operations in Hood River County;

*       Consideration to initiate the rulemaking process on boat operations on the Siletz River in Lincoln County;

*       Consideration of a boating facility grant request -OYCC Summer Boating Projects;

*       Sea Grant Pilot Project -informational briefing, and;

*       Program staff reports.
The meeting is accessible for persons with disabilities.  Persons needing some form of assistance to participate in this meeting due to a disability should contact June LeTarte at 503-378-2617 by Monday, March 18.  Persons wishing to address the Board on non-agenda items may do so during the designated period at the start of the general meeting on March 20 at 9 am.
