Marine Board Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Outfitter/Guide Rules

          The Oregon State Marine Board seeks public comment on proposed rules pertaining to OAR 250-016-0020, 250-016-35 and 250-016-0050, that modify definitions, adds new language to define license expiration dates for non-boating guides, remove recreational boating laws from a list of violation, clarify violations, and add specific references to types of fishing and hunting licenses, tags and permits.
Public hearings are also being held to gather written and oral comments on the proposed rules:

*       Jackson County Sheriff's Office: March 8, 2015, 6:30 to 8 pm, 620 Antelope Rd., White City, OR

*       Columbia County Sheriff's Office: March 15, 2015, 6:30 to 8 pm, 901Port Ave., St. Helens, OR

*       Lane Fire Authority: March 29, 2015, 6:30 to 8 pm, 88050 Territorial Hwy, Veneta, OR.
