Marine Board Meeting in Brookings October 22

         The Oregon State Marine Board will meet in Brookings on October 22, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the Best Western Plus Beachfront Inn, 16008 Boat Basin Rd.  The Marine Board meets quarterly in various locations throughout the state in order to address any local concerns by boaters in the meeting area.
            The agenda includes the following items:

*       Consideration to initiate rulemaking of Chapter 250 Division 014, Boating Facilities Maintenance Assistance Program

*       Consideration to initiate rulemaking of Chapter 250 Division 010, Boating Under the Influence of Intoxicants

*       Consideration to initiate rulemaking of Chapter 250 Division 030, Scenic Waterways

*       Informational staff reports

The meetings are accessible for persons with disabilities. The Board will accept public comment during the designated period at the beginning of the meeting.
