Informational Meeting Being Held for Charter Boats and Guides

The Oregon State Marine Board will hold an informational meeting to discuss proposed legislative concepts for the 2019 session that may impact charter boats and outfitter guides.  The meeting will be held on April 30 at 4 pm at the Englund Marine Conference Room, 880 SE Bay Blvd., in Newport.

The Guide Advisory Committee forwarded concepts that the Marine Board approved for legislative consideration.  The proposals include concepts that may affect charter boats, operators and deckhands.

Additionally, the Guide Advisory Committee will meet the following day, on May 1, at the Lane Fire Authority Headquarters, 88050 Territorial Hwy, in Veneta beginning at 2 pm.
