OSPS E-News ~ Shift Differential in Temp Benefit Package

Effective pay period ending 9/30/03, all shift differential pay codes have
been removed from benefit package XA.

Recent clarification from DAS Labor Relations confirms that temporary
employees are ineligible for shift differential of any kind.

If you find there is a need to use this code to pay off a permanent employee
returning in a following month as a temp, use the P050 screen and the retro
codes for this purpose.

Retro payments all start with "Z".
