Subject: OSPS E-News ~ Savings Bond Screen Open Delay

There has been a significant snag in the reconciliation process OSPS
performs before allowing the savings bond screen to be opened for business.
The snag relates to the production of the tape that gets sent to the U.S.
Treasury for purchase of the bonds.

We are working with all parties involved to resolve this as quickly as
possible, and will post a message to PMSG the minute we are able to open the
P080 screen.
