OSPS E-News ~ W-2 Guide; Tax Forms Updated

<> 2003 W-2 forms are being distributed to agencies today.  New this year,
posted on the OSPS website is the Guide To Understanding Your 2003 W-2.  We
hope this box-by-box detail of the information included on this annual tax
form will be useful to agency payroll staff and state employees alike.

<> The Reissued W-2 form has been updated to include 2003.  This new year
inclusion also drops off the oldest year, 1998.  Reissued W-2s can now be
requested from tax years 1999 to 2003.  If there is a need for information
older than 1999, this can be obtained from payroll year-to-date register
microfiche.

<> The tax form page now points IRS Forms W-4 and W-5 to the IRS fill-in PDF
versions of these forms, located on the IRS.gov website.
