OSPS E-News ~ New Microfiche Vendor

The production of payroll microfiche has been outsourced to Anacomp, Inc.
They take over these responsibilities effective  Friday, April 30, 2004. DAS
Information Resources Management Division, who used to produce the fiche,
has worked with Anacomp to assure a smooth transition.  OSPS staff and our
technical staff have participated in testing to ensure a good product.
Microfiche pages produced by Anacomp are black rather than blue and will be
delivered via UPS.  

If you have any questions or concerns about your microfiche you may contact
OSPS Help.  Below is a message from Anacomp.  

Hello to All, 
Microfilm production for the State of Oregon Agencies will be transferred to
Anacomp service on Friday, April 30, 2004 at 12:00 Noon Pacific time. 

All active microfiche programs have been converted for processing at
Anacomp. Jobs that process on the GGDC mainframe will be stacked and
automatically transmitted to Anacomp starting at noon on Friday the 30th.
The following contact information will also be sent in a cover letter
included with your first production fiche produced at Anacomp. 

All magnetic tapes should be sent to the following address for processing to
microfiche:

We have received some invoicing purchase orders for microfiche, and will be
contacting any Agencies that have not provided a PO to continue receipt of
microfiche the first two weeks of May.
