OSPS E-News ~ Update On Payroll Delivery

We are told by DAS Publishing and Distribution that check delivery is
underway.  We have received some boxes or reports and are beginning the sort
process.  We will keep you informed on progress.  

Last night's delay in processing was caused by the malfunction of a robotic
arm that loads tape cartridges into the mainframe while the payroll
processes.  We are grateful to our technical staff who were up watching the
payroll jobs run for much of the night to be sure everything was going well.
Also to our friends at Publishing and Distribution for getting the printing
done as quickly as possible and getting the deliveries underway.  Paying the
state's workforce is truly a team effort!
