OSPS is passing on the following message from Isabel Joslen at PEBB.

Good morning all!

 

Just a note to let you know that we have implemented one more new change
in PDB--The Coverage Term functions. 

 

The new function hot link located on the enrollment page above the
Standard Ins. Hot Link will allow you to terminate all enrollments
together--no more plan by plan termination.  So how do you this new
feature?  Follow these easy steps:

 

1. Select the member record.

2. Select the Coverage Term Hot Link

3. Select Add

4. Select the Correct QSC from the LOV

5. Enter the Coverage End date---The date you enter will be date the
enrollment will terminate i.e. 9-30-2006 will end all coverage on
9-30-3006.

6. Select Save--All enrollments will be terminated as soon as you save
the record and the record will be sent to the Termination Approval
screen.  You must approve this termination in the Termination Approval
page for the record to be sent to BHS for a COBRA notice.

7. Select Close to go back to the enrollment page.

8. Go the Termination Approval page to approve the termination and to
approve the COBRA notice.

 

If the employee terminated employment--you must terminate the employment
record by accessing the employment page in the employee record,
selecting the termination reason and entering the terminated date. 

 

You have successfully terminated the enrollment and the employment.  If
