"I know I saw an e-news on that somewhere..."

"I wonder if they sent an e-news on that?"

Ever find yourself asking one of these or similar questions? Want an
easy way to search through our e-news archives rather than clicking
month to month?

Google supports a site-specific search function. This means you can
tell Google to search for a specific word or phrase only on one Web
site.

Start here: http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en . Fill out the
top blue area for the topic you're searching.

IMPORTANT: Include "OSPS" as a search term or this won't work
correctly.

Then, skip down about six lines to the line that says "Domain Only
return results from the site or domain" with a blank box to the right.
In that box, type the web address for the state library's archives which
is: http://listsmart.osl.state.or.us/

Then either press enter, or hit the "Google Search" button on that page.
That's it!

Here's an example searching for the word "garnishment":

We hope you find this e-news archive search tip helpful.
