OSPS E-News ~ July and August OSPA Classes

Earlier in the month, I sent an e-mail to determine interest in the Processing Separating Employees in OSPA class.  At this time, I have decided to hold that class as originally scheduled (July 21, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Room 303, State Library).  I have also added a Protected Leave in OSPA class on August 4, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in Room 303 at the State Library.  There is room for more students in both of the classes.

The Processing Separating Employees class covers the process for employees who are leaving state service.  It follows the Recommended Practice on Separating Employees.

The Protected Leave class includes entering time with the special designator and LWOP, forcing PEBB premiums (including the Job Share and Part-time worksheet), and donated hardship leave.

If you are interested in either of these classes, send an e-mail to SCD.REGISTER at state.or.us.  Put the name of the class in the Subject: line.  Include your name, agency number, telephone number, and manager's name in the body of the message.
