dates below.

 

Datamart & Hyperion: Back to Basics (8 CPE Hours) (**Beginning level
course)
June 13, 2012
8:00 am - 4:30 pm

 

 

Datamart & Hyperion: A Cut Above (8 CPE Hours) (**Intermediate level
course)

June 27, 2012
8:00 am - 4:30 pm

 

These training courses are currently offered free of charge.

limited and will not last long, so make sure to sign up as soon as
possible. We will continue offering the beginning and intermediate
courses in the future, on a periodic basis, so do not be discouraged if
you miss these dates. 

 

The trainings will occur at the General Services Building in the DAS
East Training Lab, located in the Mt Hood room at 1225 Ferry St SE,
Salem, OR 97301. Please, be aware that Parking at DAS east is mainly
metered with a four-hour limit.

 

Datamart & Hyperion: A Cut Above:

Objectives: 

Learn advanced information about:

*         The Datamart, How to build complex queries, Pivots, Reports,
Computed items, and Dashboards

*         This training course includes up-to-date information on the
latest Brio/Hyperion application called "Hyperion Interactive Reporting
Studio".

 

Prerequisites:

*         The training manual for this class must be printed (Double
sided), prior to attending.

*         Attendees must have current Datamart Security access with a
valid password, prior to attending this course.

*         Completion of the 'Datamart & Hyperion: Back to Basics' course
is preferred.

*         Basic knowledge of the Hyperion application is required.

Datamart & Hyperion: Back to Basics:

Objectives: 

Learn the basics about:

*         The Datamart, Datamart table information, the Repository, and
how to set up an OCE

*         Hyperion/Brio - how to build and run queries as well as alter
and analyze results

*         Hyperion tables, joins, filters, formatting, and sorting

Prerequisites: 

*         The training manual for this class must be printed (Double
sided) prior to attending.
