* From May 7-18, employees who do not currently participate in
the HEM can elect to do so. The effective date of the enrollment will be

Assessment by May 31, 2012.

* Part-time and job share employees who do not participate in
the HEM will have a reduced surcharge. Part-time employees were moved in
PDB from the full time HEM program to the Part-time HEM program. The
effective date for this change is 6/1/12 (5/31/12 pay period).

* Employees who currently cover a spouse or domestic partner and
elected to participate in the HEM but only the employee or
spouse/domestic partner did not complete the HA; will be defaulted to
one of the new tiers:

Subject: PDB Interface to OSPA Closed

As you are already aware, the PEBB Board recently made changes to the
HEM requirements and surcharges. Those changes include:

* Starting in May, employees who do not currently participate in
the HEM can elect to do so

* Part-time and job share employees who do not participate in
the HEM will have a reduced surcharge

* Employees who currently cover a spouse or domestic partner and
only the employee or spouse/domestic partner does not participate in the
HEM can change their enrollment to Employee only or Spouse/DP only
participation during this mid-year open enrollment. This will reduce the
surcharge for these employees.

With these changes, OSPS and PEBB discontinued the NESC and NHSC
deduction codes and added new plan codes for the HESC deduction code.
Plan codes for deduction code HESC will be:

AAA EE OR SPOUSE 17.50

BBB EMP & SPOUSE 35.00

EEE P/T EE OR SP 10.00

FFF P/T EE & SP 20.00

101 EE OR SP/PTR 17.50

102 EMP & SP/PTR 35.00

105 P/T EE/SP/PR 10.00

106 P/T EE&SP/PR 20.00

801 PARTNER ONLY 17.50

802 EMP&PARTNER 35.00

808 P/T PTR ONLY 10.00

809 P/T EMP&PTR 20.00

OSPS and PEBB have tested the interface; but QA review is not yet
complete and table changes have not been made in OSPA. Consequently,
OSPS has shut off the interface between PDB and OSPA.

This means that no PEBB transactions will be loaded into OSPA until we
turn the interface back on. In the interim, PDB will continue to add any
changes made in PDB to a holding file. As soon as the review is
complete, all of the held data will be loaded into OSPA. Please do not
make the missing entries in OSPA; this will cause the interface to fail
when it does occur.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We will let you know as soon as the
interface is back on. If you have questions, please contact
OSPS.Help at state.or.us
