Besides the message regarding Memorial Day, there are a couple of changes made to the left margin. * "Need help registering? Click here!" The quick start guide has been changed to coincide with the recommendations OSPS has when setting up new direct deposit users. Instead of sending them to the registration login screen with a payment number, payroll staff should be sending them a temporary password and directing them to the login screen. * The auto-generated emails have been updated too. These now direct employees to go to the login page to use the temporary password. * "Questions? Contact your agency payroll office" This link takes an employee to the Agency Payroll Site webpage. Finally, ePaystub has been up and running for a year since we first started with the pilot group from DAS. All current employee's who have received a paycheck starting on 5/01/2013, and is enrolled in ePaystub, will see there are 13 months of paystubs displayed on the website. Beginning with the 5/30/2014 pay date employees may start noticing the oldest paystubs falling off. This is to stay in compliance with the charter for ePaystub which said the website will display 13 months of paystubs. The 2010 interpretation required employees to request donated hardship leave prior to going into leave without pay status. Based on employee need and agency feedback, we have revisited this interpretation and determined it too restrictive. Effective immediately, employees who meet the eligibility requirements for donated hardship leave outlined in policy and/or relevant collective bargaining agreement, may request donated leave prior to or during leave without pay status. While agencies can request hardship donations if an employee is in LWOP status, the intent is not to allow employees to retroactively request and receive donated leave to be applied to a month in which the time has locked. Further, an employee may not choose when to use donated leave and go in and out of leave without pay. Example: Eligible employee receives 120 donated hours and asks to use 30 hours in July and retain 90 for use in the month of August. Employee must use the hours donated and request additional hours for any qualifying subsequent months. If an employee's request does not generate enough donations to cover the entire month, the agency may further solicit donations within the same month, or subsequent months, regardless of whether the employee is in LWOP. For questions, please contact the agency's assigned Labor Relations Manager or the CHRO Policy Unit. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... This alteration creates a consistency with the other tables/systems in the Datamart. This change does not affect the data within this column; however, users must complete a 'Sync with Database' operation for the changes to take effect on queries created before this date. 2- Added a new field called 'Authno' to the OSPS_LABOR_COST tables. 3- Added a new field called 'Authno' to the OSPS_LV_ACCRUAL tables. 4- Added a new field called 'Routing Num' to the OSPS_DED tables. Items two through four will be populated with data starting with the load on June 10, which is for the 'May' Pay Period End run. The three new columns will show blank data for months prior to this date. Note: To complete a 'Sync with Database' operation, you click on the 'query' section, then select the 'DataModel' menu and finally select 'Sync with Database' (if you are not logged into the Datamart, it will request you log into an oce).
