Payroll Professionals,

We have recently received some inquiries about a broken link on the ePayroll employee website.  The webpage in question is the old registration page.  OSPS disabled that page back in May of 2014.  This change was talked about in an eNews on May 9th, 2014.  See attached email for more information on that.

If you need a refresher on the registration process, then go to the ePayroll homepage and open up the following links.

Final update:  There were a couple of transactions in PPDB that got hung up and resulted in OSPA slowing down.  First the PPDB to OSPA interface was turned off and finally PPDB was temporarily brought down in order for the system to clear itself.

The programmers and OSPS will be looking into why these transactions caused the slowdown in order to prevent future incidents.

Question:     Can Seasonal employees enroll online for Open Enrollment? Or enroll as new hires?

Answer:       PEBB has verified that Seasonal employees can access their records during Open Enrollment as long as they have active employment and active enrollments (for enrolling during OE). They can enroll as New hires only if there is an active "New Hire" QSC open in the system.

If you are receiving exceptions from PEBB Dot Benefits that state, "EM50-VISION SPAN UNMATCHED WITH REG INS.", please do not outdate, or delete the employee's VISION or MEDICAL benefits on the P070 screen in OSPA in the December pay period.  If you do, the employee will potentially not have their deductions paid for November.

If you DID delete the deduction in December and are now receiving an exception on the P370 screen that reads, "5900-VISION AND HEALTH PLAN NOT MATCHED", please do not force the insurances.  OSPS is adding back the ongoing entries on the P070 today so the employee's deductions are taken out correctly.  We will send out an email to the payroll shops individually that we are seeing this issue for.  Currently only five (5) agencies and eighteen (18) employees have this error.

In summary, please IGNORE the Open Enrollment exceptions from PEBB (unless they are related to a new hire or QSC change for PEBB Plan Year 2014).
