OSPS E-News ~ PEBB 2016 Open Enrollment Processes - UPDATE

[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll Professionals,

Update on what items are left on this week's Open Enrollment (OE) processes.


1)     Tonight:

a.     PEBB to OSPA interface - closes at 5pm.  This will be in conjunction with PDB being down too.

                                          i.    P070 transactions:  please do not enter any on Friday.  OSPS is preparing to load OE transactions and limiting new P070 entries will help that load process and cut down on rejections in PDB.

                                         ii.    Contact the OSPS Help Desk if you need to enter a P070 transaction.

                                        iii.    These entries can be entered on Monday November 16th when both PDB and the PEBB to OSPA interface is open.

b.    P070 and P050 outdate process in OSPA.

                                          i.    OSPS will be outdating all PEBB related codes on the P070 and the HEM code on the P050 with 11/30/15 dates.

                                         ii.    Any PEBB codes that have a start date of 12/31/15 or in the future will be deleted.

2)     Friday:

a.     OSPS will review the results from the jobs ran last night.

b.    An exception report will be sent to PEBB for their review and to work with the agencies as needed.

3)     Saturday:

a.     OSPA will be down this day as OSPS loads OE transactions from PEBB.  Please do not attempt to access the mainframe that day as it could interfere with the jobs running.

b.    OE data loaded into OSPA.

c.     OSPS reviewing the results of the OE jobs that were processed.

Please refer to PEBB's email earlier (see attached) regarding the processes going on in PDB and PDB being shut down tonight too.
