Subject: [hrexec] SEIU LOA allowing one-time exception to pay advance effective today for this month only

Greetings HR colleagues,
Attached is an LOA executed today.  We have negotiated a one-time exception to SEIU Article 29, Section 1(d) for the month of December 2016.  For this month only, SEIU represented employees may request release of up to one hundred dollars ($100) of their gross wages prior to the designated payday for a non-emergent reason.  These requests shall be approved by the Appointing Authority or designee upon receipt of the written request.  SEIU will communicate the agreement to SEIU represented employees.
