[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

UPDATE:  last night the P070 was updated with a new layout.  You will notice the 'PEBB SUBSIDY' field is on there now.  Also the 'OPE CD' has been dropped down below the '?' or entry field for add, change or delete.  I've attached an example of what a forced entry using the PEBB family tier subsidy would look like.  If you are needing more information you can look through the presentation document from our October forum which is online.  The 'PEBB SUBSIDY' field is only allowed for employee and family plan codes.  The screen will give an error if the EE share, PEBB subsidy and ER share does not equal the PEBB admin and Vendor share.  OSPS is working on updating the P070 screen guide which should be ready by Monday.

We are still scheduled to load the PEBB open enrollment transactions this weekend.

Please hold off on any PEBB 2017 entries until next Monday December 5.  More updates to come on Monday.

UPDATE:  Tuesday night OSPA outdated, with 11/30/16 end dates, all PEBB related transactions on the P050 & P070.  Tonight the PEBB to OSPA interface will be shut down and will not be up until Monday morning, December 5.  OSPS will be working on loading all open enrollment transactions this weekend.

Please hold off on any PEBB 2017 entries until next Monday December 5.  More updates to come tomorrow.

UPDATE:  last night the deduction tables were updated with the new PEBB 2017 rates and a new column was added for the family tier subsidy.  Again the family tier subsidy is for those enrolling in employee and family tiers and they will have their out of pocket premiums reduced by the amount listed in this column on the PTD2 screen.

UPDATE:  hold off on any PEBB 2017 entries, including forced entries, in OSPA on both the P050 & P070 for the December pay period until after OSPS has made our changes.  That means the earliest you would be able to make updates to the December pay period is Monday December 5.

By doing early entries it will increase the number of PEBB rejections when OE transactions are loaded which will increase the workload for PEBB and agencies.

Payroll Professionals,

OSPS is in the process of finishing up our testing for PEBB 2017 changes.  The current plan is to migrate our changes, update the deduction codes with 2017 rates and outdate all PEBB related codes on the P070 & P050 by December 1.  As we complete each of these tasks OSPS will send updates via eNews.  Once we have outdated all the PEBB codes we are planning to load open enrollment transactions from PEBB on December 3.

If there are changes to this current plan we will let you know.

One other note:  the 2017 processing calendar is going through some final edits and will be published next week.  Look for that eNews as well.
