[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll Professionals,



Year End Close reminders, November Run 2 final (12/9/16):



*         Last day you can set a corrective for 2016 for any month except November.



*         Last day you can reverse a paycheck for any month except November.



*         Last day for a system check to have a 2016 date.





Beginning Monday, 12/12/16:



*         You cannot reverse ACH deposits for any month except November.



*         Corrections for months prior to November must be summarized and entered into November only.  Use P190 to set the required corrective flag.



*         December terminations that include prior-month corrections will need to have the corrections entered in December (cannot set a corrective flag for November.)



*         You must request a manual check if you want the check to have a 2016 date.



*         Any corrections prior to November 2016 that include PERS subject wages you will need to use the new non-PERS subject retro pay codes.  You will also need to do P060 entries for employer paid PERS contributions.  Please see the attached document for guidance.
