[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Hello payroll professionals,

Yesterday many agencies received ACH rejections for accounts through Bank of Cascades.  OSPS was informed yesterday that First Interstate Bank bought out Bank of Cascades effective August 11. FIB was not able to convert the accounts, so agencies will need to update the routing number so it goes through the pre-note process.  We were told the account numbers will remain the same but the new routing number is 092901683.

When making updates be sure you delete the old information before entering the new; by using the 'C'hange function on the P070, the information will not go through the pre-note process.  Agencies should be sure to work their ACH rejection reports to ensure updates are made by to the pre-note deadline of Monday August 21.
