Subject: June 15, 2018 Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA)

A mass change is scheduled the evening of June 14, 2018 to implement the June 15, 2018 Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) in PPDB for applicable representations.

In addition, HR Systems will also be implementing the Wage Floor adjustment for SEIU represented classifications and employees as bargained:

ARTICLE 27--SALARY INCREASE
Section 4. Wage Floor. Effective June 15, 2018, the Employer shall establish a minimum monthly wage of two-thousand six-hundred dollars ($2600) per month. Any salary step that is below this minimum wage shall be removed from the compensation plans. The two-thousand six-hundred dollar ($2600) wage floor shall be determined within the Range Option "P" compensation plan.
Employees whose current rate is below the first (1st) step of the new range shall be moved to the first (1st) step of the truncated range. Employees will maintain their current salary eligibility date

A report will be generated the morning of June 15th identifying employees affected by the Wage Floor and whose records need to be updated manually in PPDB. In an effort to help agencies, HR Systems will manually make the updates to the affected employees adjusting the base rate. A copy of this report will also be sent to agencies.
