[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

UPDATE:  an eNews was forwarded showing the timing of the COLA update to be done by DAS CHRO PPDB group.  Now that there is an official date of June 15 for the COLA update DAS OSPS recommends that agencies manually enter time on the P003 on or after that date to account for the split screen.

Again this impacts only agencies who use the P003 screen for time entry.

Payroll professionals,

DAS CHRO will be processing in PPDB a cost of living adjustment (COLA) for most represented, unrepresented and management service employees sometime between the evening of June 14 and June 20.  For most employees the COLA is effective starting June 15 with a small group receiving the COLA on June 1.

When mid-month salary changes feed into OSPA it will produce a split screen on the P003 screen.  This will impact agencies who record time on the P003 screen through manual entry and will really affect those agencies that batch interface their time.   Unfortunately the most efficient way to enter an employee's time with a split screen on the P003 is to manually enter it.

OSPS will be reaching out to those agencies who batch interface their time next week to follow up on this eNews.

Those agencies who enter time in ePayroll will not be impacted by this.
