Subject: [Wd_arc] IMPORTANT - Biennium labor cost allocation changes

Over the past month the Workday Oregon team has been working together with payroll, budget and HR leadership regarding the biennial labor cost allocation updates and the time has come! This process impacts over 40,000 positions and their associated employees.  In order to accomplish the transfer of this information from Workday to OSPS the Workday Oregon team will need full access to the Workday system. To ensure there are no new actions/steps taken on a position that would impact this process we  will have to lock out every user for the time period mentioned below.

The following message has been shared on the state's jobs page, the Workday Login screen, and the Workday Announcements area on all employees home login screen.

Due to required maintenance for the state's budget process, Workday will be inaccessible beginning Friday, July 12 at 3 p.m., until Saturday, July 13 at 9 a.m. This will allow the state to make important data and financial changes related to the new budget period that began July 1.

The process: Change Org Assignments (demonstrated in this job aid<https://www.oregon.gov/das/HR/Documents/Position%20Management_%20Org%20Assignments%20and%20Default%20Cost%20Center%20on%20a%20Position.pdf.>), if not completed by the 3 p.m. deadline, will be cancelled. All other processes will be fine in whichever stage that they stand in and can proceed once the system is again available.
