Subject: [hrexec] Summary of compensation and other bargained changes

Good afternoon -

Attached please find the summary of compensation changes and other bargained policy changes that were reported to the September E-board as well as those changes that will be reported to the E-board later this month. Following is information you need to know:

* Cost of Living Adjustments (COLAs)

Cost of Living Adjustments were processed in September for contracts that were ratified. The Workday team will be working to process the remaining COLAs. (No agency action needed.)

*         Salary Selectives

The Workday team will be entering all salary selectives and will have this complete by the end of this month. Employees who are impacted by these selectives should have the change reflected in their November 29, 2019 paycheck. The Workday team will reach out to agencies if additional assistance or information is needed.

* Compensation Changes as a Result of a Class Study

Next week, Class/Comp will be reaching out to those agencies who have employees impacted by a class study to make sure you have the information and communication tools to notify staff of the impact of the changes, as well as information and instructions about how employees will be moved from one classification to another.

*         Allowances (Differentials)

The Workday team will communicate with agencies when the new allowance plans are created and loaded into the system. After they have been loaded, agencies will need to update employee's records accordingly.

The Workday team is working through the changes/updates. With all mass changes that are processed, agencies are responsible to validate the changes for their agency and information will be coming soon how to do this. Additionally, because of the compensation changes, agencies will need to review any work out of class dollar amounts and adjust them appropriately. The Workday team will be communicating a specific schedule related to accomplishing all of these items in the next few days.

If you have questions, please contact chro.cnc at oregon.gov<mailto:chro.cnc at oregon.gov>.

Thanks much,
Jen
