OSPS E-News ~ Leave accrual correction - Update

[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll professionals,

On Tuesday, October 29th Workday will send the files to correct the leave accrual rates for those employees who saw their leave accrual bump for August and September mistakenly changed back to their prior leave accrual rates due to the retro COLA process. OSPS will set correctives for impacted employees for both August and September.  This will correct the leave accrual amount for August and September when October leave accrual runs on the night of November 12.

Please remember that if you manually correct the employee's leave balances on the P435 screen to reflect the missing accrual amounts, please be sure to add the amount as a negative under the 'REMAIN ADV' column.   This will prevent the employee from receiving the corrected amount twice.  This entry is only needed if you are making the correction manually on the P435 screen.  Here is an example
