It looks like his fixed deposit account has been removed in the P070 screen.  Did the EE close his account recently?  If so, it takes approximately 5-7 business days to receive the money from the bank through the ACH reject process.

Per the issue below, unless I missed it, I don't believe I got a return notice on this DD.  I've just talked with the employee Jesse, and he spoke with BOA today and say's that they have not seen it.  May I impose on you to do a little digging to if something has been overlooked and find out where that $4000 currently resides?

Hi Todd,

If you didn't receive an email from Tim Wheeler this morning with this employees name on it then it's not been returned yet.  Today is payday and banks have until close of business to get the money into the account.  If he closed the account then the money when it tries to go in today will reject and once it does we will receive the rejection and let you know it's okay to issue the employee the check.  We can't do anything though until we receive the rejection.  It was fine to delete the account on the P070.  The direct deposit will still go because the payroll closed on Monday and that is the file that was sent to the bank.  So hopefully tomorrow or Monday we will see the rejection come through.

Hi Help:

Sorry about all of the abuse this week. :)  I have an employee that has a mis-directed Direct Deposit issue.  Jesse Mullaney OR0222337 thought he changed his DD in Workday last month.  He meant to cancel one of the two DD designations he has.  It didn't get cancelled and he says he closed the account.  He telephoned this morning and says the $4000 in question is not in the bank.  My question to you is was the $4000 returned and if not, where might it be?  Two days ago I deleted the account in question from his P070 (probably a mistake), so the account isn't there.
