Hello Payroll Professionals,

The United States Department of Health and Human Services has declared a public health emergency for Oregon starting September 8th due to the fires. Because of that, employees are allowed to use sick leave for office closures due to air quality. It also allows for OFLA protected time off to care for children whose school or child care provider has been closed by this emergency.
