[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Payroll Professionals,

The OSPA for Beginners training has been revamped to be virtual. The schedule has been posted below.  Enrollment for this training is open. It is required that you attend all of the sessions to receive credit of completion for the course.

Please note that this will be the last OSPA for Beginners course scheduled as we prepare for the transition to the Workday Payroll Project.


  1.  August 31st  , 1:30pm – 3:30pm: Intro to Payroll & Inquiry Only Screens
  2.  September 1st , 1:30pm – 3:30pm: Processes – Taxes, Manual Checks, Donated Leave & Garnishments
  3.  September 7th , 1:30pm – 3:30pm: Processes – PEBB Entries, Deceased Employees, New Hires, Separations
  4.  September 8th, 1:30pm – 3:30pm : Processes – PERS, Domestic Partner, Intro to Exception Reports, and Understanding the Processing Calendar

To enroll, please register for the course in Workday by searching for it in the Learning Content section.
