[Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application]

Good afternoon,

I apologizes for the lateness in getting this out to everyone today. Attached are the instructions to enroll in the payroll partner/timekeeper trainings in September. The audience for these trainings is limited to OSPS staff, CPERS staff, agency payroll partners and agency timekeepers. The classes are for those who perform the payroll and/or timekeeping duties for their agencies. The training modules will be recorded and accessible in Workday Learning the end of September/early October for those who cannot attend or who may supervise payroll but are not performing payroll actions in Workday.

Training will be broken up into 6 models. The breakdown for each module is as follows:

  *   If you are only an agency timekeeper who does not perform any payroll duties, you only need to sign up for module 1. This includes those who will be timekeepers for agencies with a time integration.
  *   If you are an agency payroll partner/agency timekeeper (you will be assigned both roles in Workday) or part of CPERS,  you will sign up for modules 1-5. This includes any payroll partner who works at an agency that will have a time integration to Workday.
  *   If you are part of OSPS, you will sign up for all 6 modules.
