I am wondering if this job announcement can be sent out via the OSPS news. This posting closes Monday, May 1st.

The Oregon Judicial Department posted a full time Payroll and Benefit Specialist 2 position salary range $5,229 - $8,113. This position will be part of the established Payroll team in the Human Resource Services Division with-in OJD.

Below is a brief job description:

As a Payroll and Benefits Technician 2...
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of payroll projects. As such, you will be the primary trainer and responsible for developing and maintaining training materials for payroll staff.

You will coordinate OJD's payroll and administer the department's insurance benefit programs, handling the most complex issues that arise. You will be auditing and reconciling accounting reports, identifying then correcting data in our payroll system. In doing your work, you will interpret laws, rules, and policies to ensure compliance with payroll and benefits.
