OSPS E-News ~ Workday Case Management Update (Flags and Labels)

Announcements from OSPS to the users of the Oregon State Payroll Application osps-news at omls.oregon.gov

Dear Payroll Professionals,

As part of the Payroll Team's continuous efforts to improve our ability to respond to the needs of our customers, we are implementing a few configuration changes within Workday Case Management.

Specifically, we are updating flags to assign severity levels to cases and creating additional universal labels to help categorize and prioritize payroll-related cases in Workday Case Management.

Here are the severity levels that can be assigned to cases:

     *   Severity 1 - Low
     *   Severity 2 - Medium
     *   Severity 3 - High
     *   Severity 4 - Critical
     *   Severity Unassigned

This will allow us to maintain our focus on high impact cases as well as assign and resolve cases more efficiently to better serve you as our customers. This effort will also improve our ability to accurately report on the types of cases being raised.

What this means for you is that you will be able to see the newly created flags and labels, but only Case Solvers within the Central Payroll Support and Payroll Admin Case Management Teams will be asked to actively use them.
