The following was asked in regards to the change to the Social Security withholdings. 


Karen,  I don't see any mention about changing the Social Security rate for the employer's portion. I just want to confirm that it will remain 6.2%.

Karen is correct; the employer share of the Social Security tax remains at 6.2% for 2011.
In addition, the Medicare tax rates are not changed by this legislation.  Employee withholding and employer match continue at 1.45% each.
