Dear Public Library Staff, School Library Staff, Teachers, and Homeschool Parents,
This award, sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries (OASL) is named in honor of Oregon born, children's author Beverly Cleary. Please encourage your students in schools and public libraries across the United States to participate in voting for their favorite 2025-2026 BCCCA nominated title! Readers with reading levels of 2nd-3rd grades or a little higher, who have read or listened to at least two of the nominated books can each participate in voting for their one favorite title. The BCCCA Official Contest opens on March 15th and ends on April 10th, 2026, at 6 PM!

* Remind readers that as long as they've read or listened to TWO or more of the BCCCA nominations, each of them can vote for their one very favorite title. On Beverly Cleary's birthday on Sunday, April 12th, I'll announce the winning 2025-2026 BCCCA title!!
