libraries that committed to help with the Medicare Prescription Drug

Thanks to everyone who signed up to display information and/or be a 
training site for the new Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage.  I know 
that some of you have not heard anything about the training from the 
SHIBA volunteers and I wanted to let you know why. First, with 
enrollment starting last week, they are on overload with lots of calls 
from seniors and people with disabilities, many of whom thought that 
November 15th was the deadline versus the kickoff.  Second, SHIBA is 
also still recruiting for volunteers and, unfortunately, can't cover 
all the libraries who agreed to host the training.
 
I've attached a copy of the SHIBA contacts by county. If your county is 
not included, it's because there isn't a SHIBA volunteer yet.  I know 
you're busy too, but if you haven't heard from SHIBA, please feel free 
to call them as well.
