[PL-Directors] Public Library Directors group

Hello library directors,

In response to Peter Rayment's email about the need for conveners for 
the Public Library Directors' group: I've been a co-convener and am not 
volunteering to do it again, but I found it rewarding and want to 
encourage directors to do it. It's quite painless, the rewards do 
outweigh the effort involved, and you have the advantage of making sure 
the meetings are at a time and place convenient to you. We are all busy, 
and travel funds are limited, but this is one group that has special 
benefits for us, I think. It works especially well if you team up with 
someone from your locale as Peter and Wyma did.
